For the first time, the NDIS Commission has released new data concerning the number of participants in need of accommodation. Whilst they have provided statistics regarding the SDA funding participants receive, the NDIS Commission has now released the demands of SDA nationwide.
According to data released on the 27th of October, there are currently 36,931 NDIS participants in need of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). These significant numbers highlight the need for SDA providers within Australia.
