Are you eligible for the Aged Care Workforce Retention Payment?
The Australian Government have released an Aged Care Workforce Retention Payment for both Residential and Home Care workers. This payment encourages the workers of the Aged Care sector continue to provide care and services throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
There will be offered two types of payments for this COVID-19 incentive. The first payment type is for workers who were employed June/July 2020. The second payment is for workers who are employed as of 31 August 2020.

Aged Care Schedule of Subsidies and Supplements
Yesterday, the government released an established schedules of subsidies and supplements for Aged Care.
The schedule states and includes the newfound daily rates of subsidies and supplements for government-subsidised aged care. It also includes the established rates for Residential Aged Care, Home Care, Transition Care and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC).
